Why we use it
We use the information only to provide the SCP newsletter you request: new public article updates and occasional relevant ecosystem or publication news. The typical lawful basis for this marketing communication is your consent.
Double opt-in
A website submission does not immediately activate a newsletter subscription. Brevo sends a double opt-in confirmation email on SCP Ltd's behalf. The subscription becomes active only after the confirmation link is used.
Delivery provider
SCP Ltd uses Brevo as the newsletter confirmation and delivery provider. The public signup experience and article feed remain on SamSoyombo.com; provider credentials are kept server-side. Brevo processes subscriber data to provide the requested email service.
Unsubscribe and suppression
You can withdraw newsletter consent using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. SCP may retain the minimum suppression information needed to respect that choice and prevent an address from being silently re-added. Previously cleaned or bounced addresses are not treated as active subscribers.
Retention and rights
Active newsletter information is retained while the subscription remains active and as needed for proportionate delivery, accountability and suppression records. You may exercise applicable information rights through [email protected].
Your choices
You do not need a newsletter subscription to use SCP resources.
Public articles remain available on the website and through the RSS feed whether or not you subscribe.
