Nature of Our Services
The SCP ecosystem supports individuals, practitioners and organisations through career and capability-development resources, reflective learning and structured self-exploration, organisational consultancy and pilot programmes, responsible use of AI-supported reflective tools, workforce and talent-readiness initiatives, and research, education and professional-development activities.
Our services are developmental and educational. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, immigration, financial, safeguarding or emergency advice.
Nothing provided by SCP Ltd, HumanRI, RILayer, SCOPE or Reflective Africa should be treated as a diagnosis, formal assessment, statutory decision, employment decision or guaranteed professional outcome.

Organisational and Geographic Services
SCP Ltd may provide paid consultancy, training, licensing, pilot programmes and organisational services to suitable organisations in:
- England;
- Wales;
- Northern Ireland;
- the Republic of Ireland;
- Africa and other international locations; and
- Scotland, but only where the engagement meets the ethical and professional conditions described below.
The availability of a service in a particular location does not mean that every enquiry will be accepted. Each proposed engagement may be reviewed for suitability, capacity, safeguarding, legal compliance, professional boundaries and potential conflicts of interest.

Respect for Career Services in Scotland
Scotland has an established publicly funded national career-service infrastructure, including services delivered through Skills Development Scotland and My World of Work.
We respect the role, expertise and public responsibilities of these services. The SCP ecosystem is not intended to replace, imitate, compete with or undermine publicly funded career-information, advice and guidance available to people in Scotland.
Individuals living in Scotland who require personal career information, advice or guidance are encouraged to use the appropriate publicly funded Scottish services available to them.
SCP Ltd does not ordinarily offer paid one-to-one career guidance or coaching to individual residents of Scotland where this would duplicate, conflict with or create confusion around existing public provision.
Free educational resources made available through our websites may still be accessed by visitors in Scotland, subject to the terms and boundaries stated on the relevant resource.

Enquiries from Organisations in Scotland
Scotland-based organisations may contact SCP Ltd regarding organisational consultancy, responsible-AI governance, RILayer pilots or licensing, workforce and talent-readiness programmes, reflective-intelligence research, educational collaboration, community or international-development initiatives, and other clearly defined organisational projects.
Any such engagement will be considered only where it is ethically appropriate and where it:
- Does not conflict with Sam Soyombo’s employment or professional duties;
- Does not involve inappropriate use of public-sector information, relationships, time or resources;
- Does not duplicate or undermine statutory or publicly funded career services;
- Does not create an actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest;
- Can be delivered independently, transparently and within appropriate professional boundaries; and
- Meets SCP Ltd’s safeguarding, governance and SHIELD requirements.
An enquiry does not create an entitlement to services. SCP Ltd may decline, limit, redirect or postpone an engagement where the necessary ethical or professional safeguards cannot be demonstrated.
Where appropriate, an engagement may be subject to disclosure, conflict-of-interest review, written clearance or other governance controls before work begins.

Free and Public-Interest Resources
The SCP ecosystem provides selected free resources for individuals and communities, including resources intended for Africa, particularly Nigeria; young people and adults with limited access to structured career-development support; international learners and emerging professionals; retired and senior contributors; educators, parents and community organisations; and visitors seeking general reflective or educational guidance.
These resources are intended to widen access, support reflection and complement appropriate local services. They are not designed to replace qualified practitioners, statutory provision or local safeguarding arrangements.

AI-Supported and Reflective Tools
Some parts of the SCP ecosystem may use artificial intelligence to support reflection, organise information, identify possible patterns or generate governed proposals.
AI-generated content is not an authorised decision.
COMPASS
Establishes orientation, constraints and boundaries.
BRAIN
May generate proposals.
SHIELD
Governs whether a proposal is permitted, conditioned, escalated or blocked.
VOICE
Communicates only within the authorised boundary.
Human judgement, appropriate oversight and professional accountability remain essential. Users and organisations must not rely solely on automated outputs for significant personal, employment, safeguarding, legal or organisational decisions.
SCOPE is a Discover-stage reflective resource. It is not a diagnostic, clinical, recruitment or decision-making system.

No Employment, Funding or Immigration Guarantee
Participation in an SCP, HumanRI, RILayer or related programme does not guarantee employment, promotion, admission to education, professional accreditation, visa or immigration approval, funding or investment, a placement, contract or commercial opportunity, or any particular personal or organisational result.
Any examples, pathways or potential opportunities are provided for developmental or illustrative purposes unless expressly confirmed in a separate written agreement.

Safeguarding and Wellbeing Boundaries
Our services are non-clinical.
They are not designed to provide crisis intervention, mental-health treatment, medical care or emergency safeguarding support. Anyone facing an immediate risk, emergency or serious wellbeing concern should contact the appropriate emergency, health, safeguarding or specialist service in their location.
We may pause, limit or refuse participation where a matter falls outside our competence, creates an unacceptable risk or requires support from a suitably qualified professional.

Independent Status
SCP Ltd is an independent private limited company.
Unless expressly stated in writing, SCP Ltd and its associated initiatives are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Skills Development Scotland, My World of Work, the Scottish Government, the UK Government, any local authority, any educational institution, any employer, any immigration authority, or any other public or regulatory body.
The views and resources presented through the SCP ecosystem are those of SCP Ltd and its authorised contributors.

Professional Roles and Conflicts of Interest
The professional employment, volunteering, advisory or public-service roles held by SCP Ltd team members remain separate from the activities of SCP Ltd.
No person should assume that access to a team member through another organisation creates access to SCP Ltd services, preferential treatment, confidential information or commercial opportunities.
SCP Ltd will seek to identify and appropriately manage actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest. Where a conflict cannot be responsibly managed, the relevant work will not be accepted.

Information Accuracy and External Resources
We aim to provide clear, responsible and up-to-date information. However, career pathways, public services, laws, immigration requirements, funding arrangements, technologies and organisational policies may change.
Visitors should verify important information with the relevant official or qualified source before making significant decisions.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not necessarily represent endorsement of every statement, service or policy on those websites.

Intellectual Property and Responsible Use
Unless otherwise stated, the frameworks, models, written materials, diagrams, assessments, governance structures and digital resources within the SCP ecosystem are owned by or licensed to SCP Ltd.
Access to a public resource does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, train an AI system on, commercially exploit, rebrand or redistribute that resource.
Separate licence terms, confidentiality requirements or intellectual-property agreements may apply to organisational pilots, technical partners, researchers and contributors.

Revenue and Social-Purpose Contribution
Income generated through eligible consultancy, licensing, training and organisational programmes may be used to support development and maintenance of the SCP ecosystem, responsible technology and governance infrastructure, free and accessible educational resources, Reflective Africa and other public-interest initiatives, research, evidence-building and pilot programmes, and wider access to career and capability-development support.
This social-purpose commitment does not mean that every service is charitable, publicly funded or free of charge.

Right to Refuse or Restrict Services
SCP Ltd reserves the right to refuse, suspend, restrict or end access to a service where the request falls outside our competence or authorised scope; there is a safeguarding, ethical, legal or reputational concern; a conflict of interest exists; information has been misrepresented; the service is being used to make inappropriate or unsupported decisions; intellectual property or confidentiality is at risk; or the engagement would undermine the integrity of the SCP ecosystem or another legitimate service provider.
