Reflective development
Early work connected self-awareness, values, confidence and purposeful action rather than treating people as passive recipients of advice.
Development history within the SCP ecosystem
MaxME was an earlier stage in Sam Soyombo’s work across self-awareness, career development, skills, confidence, parenting, education and wellbeing. Useful models and resources from that period now sit within the clearer governance, pathways and public architecture of SCP.
Current position
Earlier MaxME work helped establish a practical conviction: information alone does not create direction, confidence or responsible action. People also need reflection, language for experience, opportunities to build capability and realistic ways to test their next steps.
The current SCP architecture gives that work clearer homes. HumanRI supports human-facing discovery and formation. SASSY is the current formation, testimony and legacy canon. Coaching Frameworks holds the practical model library. SparkZone and PAVRA serve distinct learner and youth contexts. RILayer supports organisation-facing readiness and governance.
What the earlier work contributed
Early work connected self-awareness, values, confidence and purposeful action rather than treating people as passive recipients of advice.
FOCUS, communication, opportunity, information-use and starting resources helped organise practical career learning.
Resources explored learner confidence, parenting, educator support, wellbeing and early career imagination.
DREAM, FOCUS, MAGIC, REST and related tools were refined through earlier coaching and development work.
